Sarah is a licensed physical therapist and the owner of Centered Physical Therapy and Wellness. She provides both orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy and has a passion for helping people reconnect & relearn to love their body through movement.
Her interest in physical therapy and movement stemmed from her own experience learning how to safely return to exercise after struggling with an eating disorder. She has noticed that while working as a physical therapist, many people also struggle with feeling of being limited in their own bodies. These experiences have led her to open a clinic with the goal of empowering others through movement in order to re-discover what our bodies are capable of. She hope to help others in all chapters of life find joy with movement in their unique body.
Whether it is back pain that is stopping you from spending time with your family, leakage that limits you from returning to run, or wanting to find a better relationship with exercise - she is here for you and eager to help.
She is also passionate about raising awareness for movement re-integration in the eating disorder community and a larger goal of combatting diet culture in society and in the healthcare field.
Outside of PT, you can find her walking or running around the Madison lakes, and spending time with her husband and friends & family. She enjoys a good book and sunshine and will find any excuse to drink coffee.
